Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following ready:
- You are logged into Meta Business Suite as an Admin of your business
- Your Facebook Page is already claimed in your Business Manager
- Your Ad Account has been created (if running ads)
- You have a valid credit or debit card for ad billing
Step 1: Add Profit Path SEO as a Partner in Meta Business Suite
Adding us as a Partner gives Profit Path SEO secure access to your business assets without sharing your personal login credentials.
- Go to Meta Business Suite and sign in.
- Click the ⚙️ Settings icon (gear icon) in the left sidebar.
- In the left menu, Click Partners.
- Click Add.
- Select “Give a partner access to your assets.”
- Enter the Profit Path SEO Partner Business ID: [Your Agency Will Provide This]
- Click Next, then review and click Save.
Tip: You do not need to share any passwords. This method is 100% secure through Meta’s official partner system.
Step 2: Grant Facebook Page Management Access
After entering the Profit Path SEO Business ID, Meta will allow you to select the business assets you want to share.
- Select Pages from the available asset types.
- Select the Facebook Page you want Profit Path SEO to manage.
- Choose the appropriate permissions.
- Give the agency the permissions required for the services you have requested.
- Click Assign assets.
You do not need to create a separate personal user account for the agency. The Page is shared with Profit Path SEO’s business portfolio through the partner relationship. Meta’s current system allows you to select the specific assets and permissions to share with the partner.
Tip: Only grant the permissions needed for the services you’re purchasing. You can modify or remove partner access later.
Step 3: Grant Facebook Ads Account Access
This gives our team the ability to build, launch, and optimize your Facebook Ads campaigns on your behalf.
- Still in Business Settings, click Accounts > Ad Accounts.
- Select your Ad Account from the list.
- Click Add People on the right.
- Search for and select Profit Path SEO.
- Choose the Advertiser role from the dropdown.
- Click Assign to confirm.
Tip: The Advertiser role lets us create and manage campaigns but does NOT give access to your billing info. You stay in control of your payment methods at all times.
Step 4: Add a Credit Card to Facebook Business Manager
A payment method is required before any Facebook Ads can run. Your card is stored securely by Meta and is never visible to our team.
- In Meta Business Suite, click Billing & Payments in the left sidebar.
- Click Payment Methods.
- Click ➕ Add Payment Method.
- Select Credit or Debit Card.
- Enter your card number, name, expiration date, and CVV.
- Click Save.
Tip: You can set a monthly spending limit on your ad account to control how much can be spent. We recommend setting this before your first campaign launches. Ask us and we’ll help you configure it.
Step 5: Connect Your Facebook Page in the LaunchPad App
The LaunchPad App is Profit Path SEO’s all-in-one marketing platform where we manage your social media, automations, and more. Connecting your Facebook Page here enables us to schedule and publish content directly.
- Log into your Launch Pad App
- In the left sidebar, click Marketing > Social Planner.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top right.
- Under Connected Accounts, find Facebook and click Connect.
- A Facebook authorization window will appear. Click Continue as [Your Name].
- Review the permissions and click Allow.
- Back in LaunchPad, select your Facebook Page from the list and click Connect Page.
Tip: Make sure you are logged into Facebook in the same browser before clicking Connect to avoid authorization errors.
